体の向きを変えてゆったりと座ることのできる椅子。

180°に広がるハーフアームは、体制を変えても背もたれとして機能し、また後ろから手をかけて引きやすい形状にデザインした。

体に触れる部分には丸みをつけ、機能だけでなく光の陰影が美しいカーブが浮かび上がるようにした。

浮遊感のある6層クッションの座面は、足を内側に折り込んで座ることができる。

また、取り外しが可能なため、長きにわたり座り心地の良さを保つことが出来る。体の向きを変える「turn」と木のなめらかな曲げをもつ「turn」は、私のデザインの「turning point」となるだろう。

This is a chair where users can sit in all different angles and still be comfortable.

The arm of the chair opens up to 180 degrees to allow users to rest their backs and arms at any angle. All the parts that has contact with the body are made with round curves to give the best comfort while creating beautiful shadows under the light. The seat is created with 6 layers of urethane foam that’s built in a way that  looks almost as if it’s floating and allow users to bend their legs under the chair.

The seat is designed to be replaceable in order for users to change the old seats with new seats.

The “turn” of users bodies and the “turn” of the chair’s curves may be the new turning point for my future designs.
