長屋課題で設計した、フードビジネスでの起業を目指す3人が過ごす飲食店&シェアハウスで使用してもらうためのカウンターチェア。この長屋のダイニングルームは、住人達の料理のラボとして利用されるため、3人がこの場所で料理について夢中になって話し合うことが出来るような、身体や会話に「ハマる」椅子をデザインした。

座面をお尻にフィットするような形にすることで、長時間座っても疲れにくいようになっている。

This counter chair is designed for a food business that consists share houses with restaurants that was planned during the previous nagaya project. 

This nagaya is for the 3 people who lives here to experiment with different food and different ways of cooking. The counter chair designed is for these three people to enjoy cooking and communicating and almost be addicted to what they do.  Therefor the chair is named “hamaru” that stands for the word “addiction”. The seat is designed to fit with the shape of our hips to prevent sore body from sitting too long.
