2年次に制作した「Flower cafe LA＊SAISON」に置く椅子をデザインした。

花屋が併設されているこのカフェには、花や植物が溢れているため、店内で目立ちすぎないよう、シンプルだが存在感のある椅子を目指した。

側面は、一枚の板から切り出したようなシンプルな形に仕上げ、座面は視線と風が抜けるよう爽やかなデザインに。

体に合わせてカーブを描くように座面を配置したため、心地よく体を委ねることが出来る。

The chair is designed for a cafe named “Flower cafe LA＊SAISON” that I have designed in 2017. The cafe contains a flower shop with lots of plants all around and therefore, the chair is designed to be simple and to stand out without taking people’s attention away from the flowers.

The seat of the chair is designed with stripes of woods to convey the flow of wind. And the sides of the chair are carved out from a sheet of maple wood to create a simple look with a curve to fit nicely with our bodies.
