椅子は、普段の生活には欠かせない存在だ。

しかし、座るという用途以外では場所を取ってしまうため、邪魔な存在になることが多い。

そこで、座るという本来の用途以外の時でも生活に溶け込むことの出来る椅子を制作した。

座面と背もたれの間にテーブルを咬ませることで、床から少し椅子が浮き上がり、掃除の際に椅子を移動させる必要がなくなる。

デザインを考える際、この機能を視覚的に感じさせない形を追求した。

Chairs are indispensable to everyday life.

However, it often becomes a hinderance when it is not used because it takes places.

Therefore, the chair is designed so that it can also be used in other ways than the original purpose of sitting.

By putting the table between the seat and the backrest, the chair is lifted a little from the floor, eliminating the need to move the chair during cleaning.

When considering the design, I pursued a form that does not let this function to be visually perceived.
